We are getting closer to contract negotiations, including discussions about raises and improving our wages. This will be an important process for our Local, and we are going to need everyone’s support.
Under our CBA, the wage reopener is effective February 1, 2027, and negotiations are scheduled to begin approximately 90 days before January 21, 2027, which is around October 23, 2026. The agreement also requires the parties to negotiate the rates at least 60 days before the effective date.
The stronger and more united we are, the better position we will be in to negotiate a fair raise that reflects the cost of living and the work we do.
Please stay involved, share your concerns, and support the Union throughout the negotiation process. We will continue keeping everyone updated as we move forward.
